I built my own using original brackets for the larger cylinder and used a hydraulic cylinder off of a combine head lift. Cant remember what brand of combine, but I went to a combine salvage yard and had lots to pick from, Had original cylinder to base my measurements from and the one closest I had to just shorten the ram by cutting a little off and rebrilling for the pin on the end. The one I ended up using also had a 1" ram. It will never bend. Good luck and if I can answer any more questions just email me.
