I made a typo, the engine is a magnum horizontally opposed engine.
I can feel and here the fuel solenoid working.
I had the carb off twice and cleaned everything, there was no dirt and nothing was clogged. It does seem to take awhile to idle down after i move the throttle down though. I sprayed carb cleaner around everything looking for a vac leak and didn't find any.
I'll try to get the valve clearance checked today and let everyone know what i find. thanks again for the help.
