Driving up in Wisconsin last weekend I pass by a barn sale & stop in. There it was just sitting there, a cub mower deck (pristine) with 3 BRAND NEW blades & 2 belts.1st thing determined was that it was NOT a 38" (no wheels). So I inquire as to the size & no one could answer, cause the gentleman who owned the deck had passed away. By the time I hunt down a tape measure from the house & go back, I see it driving away in the back of a pick-up along with the $25.00 price tag fluttering away in the breeze.
Do I need a extra deck? Noooooooo. But...................? It was so nice & I hesitated about 3/4 minutes hunting down a tape. Next time I'm gonna plunk down some cash right away.

QUESTION?
What does one measure to determine what size a mower deck is? Measure from what to what? Flip it over & measure blade end to blade end? Just don't know?
