If you have room, I would keep the parts tractor, it doesn't need many parts put back on it to have a complete tractor, and I recall you stating you got a pile of parts with them, you may have the needed parts anyhow. Once you start fiddling with the 149, you will find yourself wanting another project anyways, keeps the parts one and you already have project 2 in the wings! I bought a 149 the first of the year, it has turned into a full blown restoration/ modification project and have since aquired 7 more cubs...it is getting a little crowded around here....LOL! But seriously, please take a look at my build thread in thus section of the site entitled, "Cub 149 Resto-mod", I think you will find some points of interest there about some upgrades, and repairs you might need to make on yours. Also look at others threads, you will find a great wealth of information here about these tough little machines!

I totally agree.....save that other 149!!! It's very salvageable and appears to be in pretty nice shape. Now, let's talk again about that seat.....
