I expect to be using the disc harrow in an abandoned cow pasture and potato field. Neither has been farmed in probably 30 years. The soil is compact, level, and covered in thick grass. Being Rhode Island, the soil is probably full of fist size rocks two inches below ground level. Before I use the disc harrow, I'll turn the sod over with a Brinly sleeve hitch moldboard plow. I've got the IH rear tiller and IH landscaping rake to finish the half acre garden preparation, but wish I had the back blade. I also have Ag tires on the 149 and wheel weights. So I've got some shopping to do to get my 149 ready.
