Default Loader install on a 1450

I picked up a loader tonight to install on my beater 1450. I have wanted a loader for a while and found one this weekend and just had to pull the trigger on buying it. My 1450 has not had a purpose since I picked up my 782, so it just makes sense to me to make it a dedicated loader.

The loader is in pretty good shape, It is a montgomery wards loader, but it looks identical to a johnson. It has kwik way cylinders and a dual spool from a JD 318 with float. It needs some new hoses, paint and some modification to fit my cub, but I hope to have it working in two or three weeks.

Some questions:
What fluid to run in it in the winter or all year?
Does anyone have some literature on wards or johnson loaders?
Recommendations on a pump to replace the factory cessna pump. I want something faster acting.
Any input or info on foot operated hydro controls.

I know there are alot of questions here but any input or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
