It's alive! I finally figured out what the problem was after nearly 2 mos of chasing my tale around this mower. The original culprit to the problem was the fuel silenoid, once I determined it was bad, I took a grinder to it and cut bout 1/2" off of it (wasn't paying $150 for that goofy part). Then it would run on low idle, but not full throttle. The guy I had clean the carb for me, put the jet in upside down and had an extra o-ring around the fuel jet blocking an orifice. Took the o-ring off, flipped the jet, now it purrs like a kitten. Can't wait to mow with it. Thanks to you guys that helped answer some ?'s.
On a side note, I never posted pics of it. It looks rough, the original owner took a pressure washer to it, blowed a lot of paint off, left it outside, now has a lot of surface rust. I hope to paint it this winter.
