Update
I got the carb. kit from the local supplier who had it in stock for $13.50. My mechanic friend helped me install the kit, adjusted the carb. and got it running great.
However, the next day, I ran the tractor a little and the float must have stuck again because it pours gas out the air cleaner cover as soon as I turn the valve on.
We cleaned it very good, and my tank, filter, lines, bowl etc, are all clean. I'm wondering if the black flexible "baffle" could be hanging the float up some how. Does anyone know if it's advisable to do away with the baffle? We're going to try to adjust the float in a day or two, but other than that or the baffle, I dont know what it could be. Any ideas appreciated.
