Great machine!!
I have an 1862 from 1990 which is almost the same as the '63 and I feel it is better than everything that cub puts out now with the exception of the 3000 series. Value? I am not sure but I paid 1200 for mine with a 50C deck a while back and it was in great shape with low hours.
