If you will look at my 48" deck that I restored, I built my own baffle for it. The lucky part is I had a small piece to start with. I got the gauge(thickness)from the part and the width. I went to a local shop and they have a slip roll that was big enough to roll a slight curve it the steel. I started with about 10 feet just to be sure I had enough. You will not need that much, but you get the idea. I used 3/4 inch angle to be able to bolt it on and remove if necessary. That is the way it is from the factory. You will have to hand work the metal to make it fit around the blades. I have done 2 and it has worked fine. Hopefully this helps, would be able to answer any Q,s U might have.
