The Mitsubishi tractors are on the "almost impossible" list of tractors to get parts for.
I don't know if that includes engines. At one time I had the MT372 tractor. It would pull a 4 foot deck, but, had could not run a 5 foot Woods deck.
Then I got the 1872 Cub Cadet. The MT372 never had a deck on it again.
What RPM is the engine you are getting?
A low rpm diesel would not make a Cub Cadet "work" very well.
