That would be correct. You will notice that the arms for the mule drive pulleys should be angled slightly back to the left (as you set on the tractor) to allow the belt to align properly with the deck drive pulley.
The pulley arms for the tiller will be perfectly straight back and forth to allow the belt to go straight back to the gear drive pulley. That is what you will need to look for in the correct mule drive. The owner's manual shows how the mule drive pulley's need to be set up with two adjustment rods and no springs.
