I have taken the IH spring assist off of my 108 and tried to put it on my 169 with a manual lift since my 108 is not ready yet and I wanted to try out my new sleeve hitch. I went to install it on the 169 but on the left lift bar the holes are in different places almost backwards of what is on my 108.

Any ideas why it would be drilled differently? I looked at the install paper on this site for the sleeve hitch and it lists the 129 and 149 which I thought was pretty much the same as the 169 except the engine.

Is my only option to either not put it on or drill new holes? I dont plan to leave the sleeve hitch on my 169 so its not a huge deal but it would be nice if it fit. If I was I would convert it to hydrolic like it was supposed to be.
