Yeah... it's apparently OK to pollute (because manufacturing in 3rd world holes pollutes far more than the US did) , just don't do it in my back yard. It's another variation of Virtue Signalling. The appearance of doing something (see: "high efficiency toilets" that need 2x flushes to function) is the moral equivalent of actually doing something.
