Newbie Question
Hello, I’m new to the forum but have a question. I have a 14 LGT1050. I was curious if this is a LT platform or not? Can’t find much info on an LGT only LT or LTX.

The LGT 1050 is a 1000 Series lawn tractor, what I would consider to be in the heavier duty spectrum just below garden tractors.
Here are three web sites you can look up models on. No single one ever seems to tell you everything about a model but between the three you can come up with decent info.... https://www.tractordata.com/lawn-tra...-lgt-1050.html https://www.tractor-specs.net/cub-cadet-lawn-tractors https://tractorgearbox.com/cub_cadet_lawn_tractors.html |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
