Hi Everyone, I see in the 1969 IH flyer it shows add on stake Pockets for the #1 cart. Does anyone have these on their cart and or photos and measurements? I assume they us the holes that's already there on the ends but unsure by the little photo if they clamp on the other end or you have to drill a hole. Thanks Steve

Darkminion thanks for the reply. I think that's what I was wondering about. I have tried to attach the original ad that shows them and Ih calls them stake Pockets but your right they are more like tie down hoops. Hoping someone has a set of these on a #1 cart. Hopefully the ad shows up. Thanks

Hi everyone, I have attached diagrams I found of the #1 cart that shows the stake pockets and does tell that they used 3 3/8" bolts per bracket. If anyone has these on their #1 cart I'd love measurements. Thanks

Cart diagrams finally goth them downloaded. #16 brackets in the second diagram are the ones I'd love the measurements. Thanks

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
