This is the one I'm missing. Looks like an early one with the louvered panels and either the fender pan was changed or painted. You guys see any other issues?

yes I see it is too much money.
looks like the fender pan was changed, ask for a better picture of the area where the turning brakes are,the footrest on that side should have a cutout for the hydro lift bracket.

It has an early fender pan on it as it should. Looks like the fender and foot rest's have been painted. Not surprised considering how they normally peel.

Snag her Todd. This would be the last one to complete your set. Looks like a twin to my 1782. Mine is earlier with the louvered panels as well. The only difference is mine doesn't have the "Kaboda" engine............

If you get over in the valley where that is located you will never find your way back to Georgia.
I have been watching it too but a little short on cash unless I sell a couple of tillers.

I just stick with IH cubs, so this one is out of my area of expertise, but for a running diesel, I think the price is very fair for my neck of the woods. Although the exhaust looks like a cannon out of the side.

I've talked to the owner and was going to go get it yesterday but I talked myself out of it because it was such a nice day and a 6 hour trip. I gotta work about an hour from him later this week and will probably go get it. I think it's priced right.

Looks good to me. Iknow where there's one locally that I can get for $600 but its missing all the plastic and the guy can't get it to run, I'd buy it if I knew for sure it was an easy fix but I don't have the money to dump into it if it has major issues.

He lowered his price to $1000.00 until the 23rd. Sure wish I had the cash but trying to pay off some stuff. I hope Oak or another member here can pic this up!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
