I wish I had such a metal working talent! It would definitely come in handy with a hobby like this.

Nice job.

Probably my 128 for a while actually. It should match the 2 red ones, I will have to try it sometime. I had 2 5 dollar cans of "International Red" from UFA so I just put them on there. It isn't perfect but it will stop the rust at least. I used this thing so much last year that I wore a half inch of the cutting edge (4 foot chunk of Grader blade). Hopefully I won't have to replace it too soon. The blade as of now clears 150 pounds. It don't need an extra weight that's for sure! Thanks for the compliments guys! Necessity is the mother of invention!

Great looking box blade. One of these days I'll find one.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
