It sounds like it's a QA-42 model - it may be adjustable. The BB-36 was a bolt on; it did not have a quick attach.

Pictures always help - if I don't ask, someone will .

Several things are not adding up here...there is no BB42, the nearest thing to that would be a CC42, which would not fit a 582 anyway. A picture is worth a thousand words here, but at any rate, it doesn't matter because it's not going to fit your 1914 anyway. You need a 450 or 364 (or H48).

Ok after searching more, I think it's a Haban H-42. Anyone have info on these? Thanks for the quick replies

Most of the parts are NLA, and it's too small for your 1914. In my previous post, I told you which models will work.

I suppose one could make a Haban H-42 fit with the right amount of fabrication. The H-42 was designed for 482-782 Series of GT Cubs. The H-48 was designed for the SGT 982, 19xx Series of supers.

Click on this link for more information..... Haban

I really have to question why the Haban 42 wouldn't work. As a 582 and a Super are both wide frames. The only problem that I might see is not being able to lower it to the ground all the way. 42 inches will cover the tires track on a super it won't give you much room but is possible.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
