How far have you driven to purchase a Cub? I did 120 miles to get to my 123.
I know there's gotta be some long haulers here! John |

I've visited Teet and Papaglide in Middle NY and around Niagara NY. From southern WV it's about 7 hours and about 575 miles to Teet give or take a scenic stop or two.

I went up to Harrisburg PA for 3 sears garden tractors. Thats 475 miles one way. I also picked up two JD's while I was in MD.
I never go that far but I was already going to be in Frederick MD for an Uncles suprise party. I figured I might as well do some shopping on CL and Ebay if im going to be up that far. We also went to Portland IN to haul a tractor back that my friend had bought. Thats 604 miles one way. Sorry, no cubs on the long distance runs. Havent been that lucky yet...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
