Just wondering....anyone have the height of a #4 trailer from the bottom of the tire to the top of the side? Need to know how tall they are when hooked up to a tractor on level ground.
10129.jpg Thank you to who ever posted this picture many moons ago - I copied it some time ago and saved it. Also.... How is the tires attached? A cotter pin runs through the end of the axle? Anyone have a close up picture of the wheel mounted on the axle as well as the under side of the trailer, how the axle is attached to the bed of the trailer.

I don't know the height off the top of my head but it's just about level with the fenders of my 782.

Found my answer!
Came in at 29-1/2" tall, ground to top edge of the box. That puts it 1 inch shorter than my 982 fenders. ![]() Thanks Rich! ![]()

Well, I found my answer AND scored a new #4 trailer!
![]() Needs a little work on the paint, but its solid as the day it rolled outta the showroom. Latch & tongue has been rebuilt. Only thing wrong with it is a VERY slight bend in the tailgate. I am pretty happy with it considering the age of it as well as the work I am sure it has seen. ![]() DSCN2427.jpg DSCN2441.jpg DSCN2439.jpg DSCN2440.jpg

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
