1572 Before and After
Here is what she looks like after a bit of work. I kind of like the looks of the 125 seat on it. Finally got the drive shaft where I was happy with it. Probably tear it down next winter and give her a paint job.

Wow, what a make over. It's looking good. I know that rear PTO and lift is probably just in your way. I'll send my address and you can ship it on down here and I'll put it to good use.

power steering issue
I just installed a PS system with NO fluid in it and it only took about one minute for the entire system to fill and operate. Unless there is an air leak on the intake side I think you may have other issues than air in the lines. I have read several articles about trash in the system or a blocked filter causing the PS to not work smoothly. I'm sure you will work it out but thought it might help you to know how these system are so simple that the trouble options are few. You have done a great job so far and don't get too discouraged if you don't find the problem right away.
