With all the information provided, I hope Matt's crystal ball is working to answer that one....

Where's the hood & grille??... for that kind of money.

Myron

The guy wants $279.99, no hood or grill. Has 50" deck with it. He says motor will turn over but will not start. The motor if it will run should be worth that. It has a kohler 15 hp magium. If i am correct that motor has the oil filter.

Thanks
Walter

Cyclops tractors are parts machines to me. The deck might be worth $100, so that's about what I'd pay for it. I would want to see it run before paying more than that. The less I know about a tractor, the less I'll be willing to pay for it.

Depending what condition the deck is in i maybe wouldn't pay even 100.00 with missing parts and not knowing what's up with the motor.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
