Can anyone tell if this is a sleeve hitch plow with the sleeve hitch attached to it? I need a single plow and this one has popped up on cl and was wondering if it was three point or sleeve. Thanks

I think it's a sleeve hitch plow and that sleeve hitch will not work on a cub.

Do you think it would work on my CC sleeve hitch? I cannot tell what type of fitting it has behind that hitch.

The plow should work. It's a bolt on hitch.....easy to change. Hard to say without a better view.
The sleeve hitch looks to be one that goes on some John Deere garden tractor. |

I blew this picture up 400 times and it looks like the end of the plow shaft is visible just before it touches the hitch. If that is the end then what would it attach to?
There is also the piece behind the shaft that has what looks like a bolt or nut through it. Any ideas? I called the owners and it sounded like two women that maybe inherited these items and do not know what they are. It's too far to drive just to look at it. I blew it up again and this is what I got.

I saw that as well, that's why I say I think it will work.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
