Default New super

well I was surfing the net this morning and look what I found it was close to home and the price decent so i said what the heck and bought it. Its a little rough around the edges but runs good I think it will be a good project once I get my 2072 back together. I use to have a 782 d I liked the diesel engine but did not care for the fact it did not have power steering I didnt know at the time that you could add power steering to it and sold it shortly after buying it. So im looking forward to being able to use this. it came with a solid and quite 50c deck.

Very nice, I would like to have another 1572. Nice find, it looks real clean from what I can tell in the pictures.

Sweet looking fuel burner. Why am I guessing that the 2072 will be for sale soon?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
