Tranny problems

Cub Cadet 1325 with Electric pto and 12.5 kohler engine.
while doing maintenance found heim joint on shifter linkage
bad. Replaced joint and adj linkage where it has no preload on it.Shifter shifts fine untill you start engine then you can't shift at all. Have to cut engine off set shifter in gear needed and restart. Anyone have any info on how to adj
linkage or have had and solved this pro in past?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
