My Recent Haul
Took the 149 back to its home in Missouri last week and got to use it plowing some of the 19 inches of snow that had fallen plus hauling off lots of broken tree limbs. It will remain there to do occasional mowing this summer. Took a couple of side trips while there and picked up two 782's. Both have Series II engines which need repair or replacement, 44 inch decks and one has a PO built Cat O three point. The one that is disassembled needs a couple of thread inserts in one side of the differential case.

Looks like the 149's earnin' its keep. Neat pic. Great pickup on the 782's. Both have series II's which is a plus. I just hope neither windowed the block.

Thanks guys for the comments. The 149 was my father-in-laws and we got it when he passed away in 1992. The PO's say neither 782 block has a hole. I have not seen any visible damage but think both have thrown a rod. Plan to tear into the loose engine soon and see what it looks like inside. The disassembled tractor is SN 745048 and complete tractor SN is 740282. I need to find the SN list and see what years they were built. Will be doing a lot of looking at OCC for answers! Really appreciate the site and all you guys that contribute here.
