Default Tire photos

I had some of my tractors out today and noticed that I currently have a wide variety of tires on them.

I figured I would take some pictures and put them on here in case anyone is thinking about getting the same tire and is wondering what they look like on the tractor. If you are ordering the tire online and have not seen them in person maybe this will be helpful. If anyone else thinks this is a good idea, feel free to add you tire photos as well.

The 2072 has Firestone 23° 26x12x12 on the rear and Vredestein 5-rib 18x8.5x8 on the front.

The 782 has Carlisle Tru-Power 23x10.5x12 on the rear and Carlisle Super Lug 16x6.50x8 on the front.

The 109 has Carlisle Power Trac 23x8.5x12 on the rear and some no name 4.00x8 3-ribs on the front.

I have been looking at some 6.00-12 tires for duals on my 104. I was wondering if these will be ok on the skinny style of rims that are on my 72 that currently have 8.5-12. Anyone with an experienced opinion would be appreciated.

Cuber

That's not a hitch on the 109. It is a bracket that I made to hang suitcase weights on. I can fit 3 45lbs weights on it. I put them on in the winter for plowing and just take them off in the spring for mowing.

Here are some pictures with the weights on.

sgirdham,

I think 6x12's look great on duals.

I think you would be happy with them.

Bsmith, yes I love the look of them, I just hope they will not look funny on the wider rims.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
