Default Electrical Problems - GT3200 CC - blown fuse

Hi
I'm blowing 25 Amp fuses while grass cutting, does anyone have a circuit diagram for the GT 3200?

After about 20 mins of grass cutting, the fuse blows and the engine dies.
I have noisy deck spindle. But it turns freely when hand spun.

First, welcome to OCC....

I would highly suggest that you look at and address the noisy deck spindle.

This tractor has the vacuum assisted PTO...not clear on how it operates
surely the PTO doesn't have to stay energized once engaged???

No cct diagram in the manual...so don't know which 25 A cct the PTO is on.
Wiring harness is a big bundle....and disappears in places.

Thanks for the welcome, I follow other CC forums...have lots of questions, but don't like using paypal for membership with implied consent renewal ...so I couldn't voice them until I found this forum.

Yeah...you are right.....wife can't stand me

I've inspected the deck a number of times when it's removed, spindles seemed ok. Even tested the PTO unloaded to see if it was the source

Only on the latest inspection have I found suspicious friction.

With all the sources I know of, I can not find a Wiring Diagram for this model.

The local dealer gave me a photocopy of the wiring harness diagram yesterday.

There are a heck of a lot of things connected to the starter circuit.

The dealer felt it was a wiring short.....hmmm

I ran the deck for 45 mins yesterday...then it died. This time the short is permanent. I blew 3 fuses proving that to myself.

I bought this 2009 tractor used from the Cub dealer, stepping back and looking at the wiring harness I see a lot of black electrician's tape...perhaps someone's been in here before....

I wonder....did I buy a problem the dealer couldn't fix???

I'm going to manipulate the wiring harness and see if I can clear the short.

Moving the wiring harness does clear the fault.
After checking the likely fault locations I gave the
tractor to the dealer.

Turns out the lighting circuit was shorting out on
the hood.....I don't get it.....ie lights have their
5A fuse. Dealer was emphatic....lighting cct was
blowing the 25 A fuse.

Anyhow...I have the wiring diagram for a GT 3200
if anyone needs it.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
