Hydro question
As I said in the other post I am gathering parts for an 82 series build. I need to now if the hydro units and rearends are all the same. For instance will a hydro and rear from a 1250-1650 fit and work in an 82 frame? I am trying to build a bullet proof 82,and the 1211 I have that I will be using for parts has the alluminum rear and the pump needs work. I would like to put a cast iron rear in if possible.

Yep, it's the same thing. However, if it's an external brake rear, you might have to use the 1211 brake linkage because the iron rear linkage interferes with the fenders. If you really want a bulletproof rear, put the carrier/axles from the aluminum rear into the iron rear case.
