Default Rear wheel assembly for GTX2100

The GTX2100 I purchased several days ago is running great. I ordered a set of Carlisle Tru Power lugs which came the other day. I am going to use them for the summer time and keep the factory ones on with chains for blowing snow as most of you suggested. I want to purchase a set of rims for the lugs so I can just switch out rims and tires. I called the dealer and they stated that I will need bearings also. All the photos I am viewing only show a rim that bolts on. I did not take the wheel weights off yet but , my question is, wouldn't it be like a car, take one wheel and tire off and put the other one on. I just want to make sure the dealer isn't trying to sell me something I do not need. Thanks for any input.

I did the same thing on my GT2544, I believe Cub has used the same 4 bolt wheel hub for years and years. I got a pair of the 2 piece wheels from an older 3000 series and put a set of Carlisle All Trails on them.... Best thing I've done to it.

Xtreme makes an adapter that allows you to use the Cub 5 bolt rims on the 4 bolt axles. click on the tires, rims section and scroll down

I can't understand why in the world they want to sell you bearings, all you need is an extra set of rims.

If the caliber of parts people are no better than some I've run across lately, I'd bet they are looking at the front wheel assembly.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
