Thumbs up Todays pick up and test drive

Picked this up today.
A 147 w/ tiller, snow plow, brinly plow. It's a runner.
After putting on a manual lift since it had no electric motor for lift, unhooked tiller and pulled sleeve hitch and hooked up snowplow. It was test drive time.

THIS IS HOW I DO MY LEAF CLEAN UP.

You will love it. 147s are the best.

I usually sell 90% of what I find but you say how good this thing is so I think this one will stay for the winter and will see how it does.

This is my third 147 this year but the other two knocked pretty good. This one is quieter then my newer mower. Will see if I can hold on to it.

Now to go buy that 127 I been eyeing up for some parts for this one

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
