Default Values??

I am wondering what the value on a 54" Haban Blade with the hydraulic option installed is going for? I live in Southwest Michigan, where cubs and attachments aren't as common as Pennsylvania... Looking at a tractor that has the blade included in the price (don't need one as I already have one)...

Next, I know of a 3 point rototiller for sale... curious what would something like this be worth? Thanks in advance...

The Haban 54 inch blades, complete, with the hydraulic tilt usually go for $350-500 depending on condition and of course location.

The tiller I'd say anywhere from $700-1200. Once again depending on location and condition. The tiller looks to be in pretty nice shape.

Good luck and keep us posted.

I'd say Josh is pretty close. I've seen both go for a little less...... but again, condition and location.

Well darn it! I missed out on the tractor and blade it was a 982 with 355 original hours and original paint with a factory 3 point and rear PTO... man that thing was sweet! have been looking for something like this for a long time... ah well...

On another note, I guess the rototiller is a great deal! I can get it for $275 and it's in really nice condition! Too bad I don't currently have a tractor with a rear PTO...

Darrell, go get that tiller. That is a heck of a buy and looks to be in good shape too. How much did the 982 sell for?

Sounds like I should go pick up the tiller... I was pretty discouraged when I lost my chance at the 982 so I need to re-connect with the tiller owner... Here are a few more pics of the tiller...

The 982 I was looking at was listed at $3500.00. I was prepared to pay that as it was as close to new as I've seen any 982. There wasn't a dent on it and only a few scratches on it! I think the guy even washed and waxed it after he used it!

That tiller is a steal. Buy it and you can find a rear pto later. Kinda funny on the serial number plate. Looks like the model and serial numbers were hand engraved. I've only seen em stamped or later, just printed on the tag. The prices I listed were guesses as well as what I've seemed em sell for over the years. Just an opinion or ..............

Not sayin' you can't find stuff cheaper. Cheaper is always good.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
