I bought a seat that looks identical to that from surplus center for my 122. Very nice and comfortable. Surpluscenter.com.

Yes I did, from Northern Tool.
I sent it back, NO cushion in the tail bone area at all. I actually called the company and asked them if maybe it was a seat that maybe during the manufacturing process that it maybe by chance the foam was left out of that area. The guy said he would check the others to see if they were any different than I was describing and get back to me. He called back a day later and reported they were all the same. So I sent it back. I do have a bony butt, so if you've got a lot of cushion there you maybe fine, that's your call ![]()

Looks like the basic seat, stop by a Tractor supply and see what they have. If you find one you like make a note of the style and check around for prices. There are really only a few seat manufacturers out there, they just put different names on them.

I put a Surplus Center seat on my 882 and so far it has been great. They are $88 shipped but made in China and I had to drill it to fit.
http://www.surpluscenter.com/Brands/...-1-3202-BK.axd The Ebay one is probably the same seat for $80 shipped. There are lots of nice seats out there but I like the look of the OEM style one.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
