Anyone here ever grow their own tobacco? I thought about getting some seeds and giving it a try in my garden this year. And where would you buy the seeds at? It would be snuff tobacco.

I don't know anything about growing it..... but I should look into it too. What a ridiculously expensive "habit" I have.

I have never grown tobacco, but a quick google search brings up a long list of seed retailers, even amazon! It appears there is a long list of varieties, good luck picking one!

Probably best to do a lot of homework before you start.
Just did a google search, I had NO idea you could grow tobacco almost anywhere, I thought it had a very long growing season. Boy do I feel dumb! Sounds like a fun project. If we would all just quit smoking and using tobacco altogether, I believe we would be a LOT better off. In the past few weeks I have tried to limit my cigarette consumption to 4 cigarettes per day. Some days I have done really well, other days I don't do so good. This is down from a one time high of three packs a day. And to think, at one time, I SWORE I would quit when they got to 75 cents a pack! Good luck with your growing project.

I quit in June 2006 and was probably the smartest thing I've ever done. Cigs had just hit the 3$ mark when I quit. When I started they were 40 cents a pack. At that same time I gave the wife an ultimatum either cigs or me. She's still here. Really has nothing to do with growing tobacco but I guess if you are a die hard smoker growing your own bakky would be a cool option.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
