Default 1782 decals

Does anyone know of a place that might have original right side decals for my 1782? Part # 759-3634. They are discontinued but am trying to find one sitting on a shelf somewhere. Thanks for the help

You can also get them from here:

Slightly off topic - why did the original decals on yellow pre-cyclops cubs have white between the numbers and letters. Here's an example:
http://maplehunterdecalstexas.com/cu...772diesel.aspx

It is almost like the designer forgot to make the area around the number or letter transparent when they designed the decal. I wonder if there's a story behind this; maybe just a rush to market and by the time someone noticed it was too late?

Looks like all of the replacement decals have fixed this but i have seen the white background on original cub cadet brochures advertising "new" models.

Anyone else notice this and wonder about it?

That's weird because I bought a set for my 1811 about four years ago and they were fine.

None of the aftermarket decals I have seen anywhere are correct for the 72/82 series.

Default decals

I know we are having a heck of a time with finding a decal set for a 1606.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
