Well I wrote a thread about bringing the 129 w/loader home just before Christmas. Then I wrote about snapping the front axle the first time I used it. Well I am glad to anounce that it is back up and ready for action. It got a replacement axle, used drag links, new tie rod ends and new wheel bearings.
Now I need a favor from some of you guys south of me..... SEND SOME SNOW!! I'm 1/2 hour from the Canadian boarder and only have an inch on the ground. Normal for this time of the year is 2-3 feet. Please share some seat time. Thanks Tom

Thanks ACecil, the 149 sure has been busy this week.
ihnick, I thought about switching the blade over to the 169 just to use it for a while. A blower might be somthing to consider. All the snow we have had this year it sure would have gotten some use :biggrin2.gif: |

i love blowing snow with my cubs. the blower right now is on the 1650 but i wish it could be on my 169. dont really care for the electric clutch because it engages so quickly.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
