Default Utility Box
Does anyone have one of these magical utility boxes? Would it mount where the battery is?

I've seen it on the cub cadet parts site consistently, but don't see an application for 782/1711 where the battery is under the seat. CC doesn't even list a P/N.

Those Utility Boxes were mainly used on IH NF Cubs. It bolts to the rear end housing.

That's neat. Crazy how they still have it on the 782 manual (I suppose the early ones it'll bolt up fine).

Does anyone have one? Ad indicates it has a hitch plate or drawbar extension, too?

That would ONLY apply to the 782 with the cast iron rear end.

It did have the usual SN 719,999 and below note in the parts lookup.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
