Here is an interesting CC for sale on CL that I don't anything about. It looks like it's in great shape. What do you think ?
http://atlanta.craigslist.org/eat/grd/4724608276.html BTW, I just redid a JD 318 that had been power coated and what a mess! When it separates it comes off in big flakes but where it doesn't it is almost impossible to get off.

Never thought I'd say this, but that actually looks like a nice machine. Looks clean, paint looks good, hours look good, but the price is a bit high, at least for me. For that money, I'd still get a Cyclops and put the remainder into that, if needed. If the paint was done right, it'll last a long time yet. The deck, however, yuck! Paint that thing yellow!

Rudy, are you looking for a good machine because I will have a 3165 and a 3240 for sale a lot cheaper than that thing? That seller is always way high on price, in fact he started that out at $2495 a week or so ago. The only thing good on that machine is the driveline and the Command engine.

I'm not really in the market for a new tractor but I like to see what some of the newer models are like and worth incase I come across one that might make a good one to flip. I wouldn't buy one that has already been redone when I would rather redo it myself. Thanks for the responses. Oak, is the B&S in the 3165 better than the Kohler in the other?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
