Default I picked this up

I just bought this 1988 Case International 235 a couple days ago with 54" Woods rear discharge finish mower. Love the 3 cylinder diesel and hydro with diff lock and 540 rear pto. Runs and everything works great but best news is I got it for less than $1200. Older gentleman just didnt use it anymore since he got a zero turn mower. The blue seat is going bye bye, got the black Case IH replacement coming for it.

Come on, I know I get free JDs, but a 3 cyl. diesel tractor with a big a$$ mower on the back for less than 1200. I would LOVE to have that! Nice find!

Wow, there are guys asking a lot more for less. You found a bargain and it looks to be hardly used. Now it is time to start getting more attachments for it......find that front end loader next!!! I hope you take the fella out for a nice lunch.

Killer deal. Keep an eye on the pins that hold the wheels on the mower. I have a Woods RD-60 and I've had the wheels fall off more than once. I replaced the pins with bolts with lock nuts.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
