Default 1650 hydraulic lift
I have a 1650 that barely picks up the snowblade. The spool adjustment is correct. The plunger moves all the way both directions. Also the hydro won't move unless hydro lever moved at least half way. The fluid is full and clean. Any ideas?

Check to see if your coiled pins on both ends of the drive shaft are not sheared causing your hydro pump to not turn like it should.
Also your filter could be dirty or water in it, As I see you are in Mo.
with more water than a man ever needs!
It sounds like you are just not getting the flow you need.
but a lot more information on history/what you've done would help.
had it long? previous problems?

I bought the tractor 6 months ago. Hydro worked the same even with warmer weather. I adjusted the hydro to keep from creeping. Noticed then the deck raised slowly also. Since I'm disabled I buy these awesome cubs fix them up and find new homes for them. Introduce others to these cubs. Sold 13 since May. I have as my keepers a 1772, and a 1650, Brinly 12 inch plow and hayban 54 power tilt snow plow for the diesel. On the 1650 lm trying to sell can I change the filter without draining the rear end

If your really fast about it you can switch the filters without losing to much fluid, as soon as you remove the filter it will start coming out so you will need a catch pan. Obviously you will need to top off the fluid to replace what was lost.

It's possible that the rear end is filled with jelly and it might take a few filters to get enough of it out to make it work right. I think I would go ahead and change the fluid and filter and clean the inside of the rear end out while you're in there.

The fluid looks good in hydro. Pump makes no noise when moving. Just when I try to raise blade . I have another 1650 the spool valves move the same. Never had a valve go bad or lift cylinder. The hoses from valve to cylinder are not kinked and shear pins in driveshaft are ok. I guess I'm down to replacing pump or cylinder. Any ideas? Thank you.

I drained the filter seen no water. I then reused it. Can't have a new filter today. Made no difference with the blade.
