Hi all!
Only have 1 Cub Cadet, a 100 that my father had on the farm. Thought I was getting a lawn tractor for cheap. Boy was I wrong. I ended up doing a full restoration. Though I had someone else do the engine rebuild, painting, and some fabrication. Added the lights and grill. And think I used the wrong white for that vintage, oops.
I've mowed and plowed snow with it. Have to fix the mower deck and still getting the snow blade right.
I just picked up a Danco RD-1075 front end loader for it. It was working on a different hydro tractor, so it missing some stuff I believe. Hoping I can find some info or a manual on it here. Here's a few picks.

Looks great!!

The 70/100 series is one of my favorites!! Classic style but still utterly simple and easy to work on while still remaining very useful! With a little care and maintenance it will last another 50 plus years no problem!

Welcome to OCC.

That's a gorgeous 100!

As stated earlier, it should give you years of faithful service.

FEL's are difficult (at best) to install and remove. You may want to consider getting a second Cub Cadet as a dedicated FEL. Hydros (in my opinion) are the best tractor for FEL's and better yet if they have a forward/reverse foot pedal.

The thought of a hydro cub for the FEL crossed my mind pretty quickly. Might have to start looking to see what I like while working on the FEL.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
