Default Boys and their toys.
One grandson burning diesel fuel, two grandsons planning an ambush, launched from the picnic table, all while Grandpa poop scoops.

I think the kids should have to poop scoop to earn seat time.

They are my grandsons, I do not get to spend very much time with them. I usually just try to do things we will all enjoy. They were my poop pile spotters, but I did the scooping.

I find I treat my grandchildren somewhat different than I did my children. As far as chores / privileges go.

Limited time together, is the excuse I use. Not that at my age I need excuses.

My grandson is 3 and he likes to pick up sticks. I don't make him help but he likes to.

Grandparents are supposed to treat grandchildren differently.

Some call it revenge.

Or karma, etc.

Spoil them rotten, let them do what they are not allowed to do at home, etc.

Then send them back home to the parent(s).
