Default the wait is killing me....

You know that feeling of anticipation of getting a new toy, and not being able to wait for it... Well, I've been having it for close to a month now. I've got a new to me IH and haven't been able to get time to go get it.... I'm going to try my best to go on the 22nd. I'm going crazy staring at pictures of it!

I'm getting a 127 from a fellow member I love my 'O' but I just can't find anything for it. The 127 should give me a lot more options.... at least that's what I told my wife...

I don't know how you can be lolly gagging and not picking the tractor up. Let us stare at the pics with you!

well between me and my wife we have about the craziest work schedule around. Even though I work from home, I'm on the road quite a bit. My wife takes call every other weekend, and I was supposed to be going to NY today to get it, but she had to take call.... It's going to be a decent road trip. Next weekend will literally be the first weekend in over a month that I should have free. I'm getting anxious!!!!!

Hows this for an idea? Since I live in NY, send me the address and I'll go pick up the 127 and send you the money. That kills two birds with one stone - relieves the stress and anxiety of the wait and it saves you that looong road trip from WV.

I have a better idea....SHUT IT DOWN for a weekend! Tell the wife, if the phone rings and its anyone other than Ed McMahon telling you hes coming with a big cheque and a camera crew, that you have all moved and no forwarding address was left! And if it happens to be Ed McMahon, tell him you will meet him on the road somewhere between home and where that Cub is sitting, crying out your name...... :biggrin2.gif: Think that will work? I'd be telling the wife, she could come along if she wanted to, but that you were going. Enough is enough .... How can a person handle such torment? .... Sounds like a ROAD TRIP to me.

Oh yeah.....

I've got it all planned out now. I'm heading up next Saturday the 22nd. I'm looking forward to the trip. I always head south, never north, so this will be a first for me.

I know I'm gonna have a bunch of questions. I'm gonna love to get a tiller and make this a real worker. My wife is gonna shoot me if I semi-retire my '09 GT2544 after only a year or so... :biggrin2.gif:

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
