2182 exhaust
While mowing with the 2182 the exhaust is blowing right back in my face, burning my eyes and I'm sure it's not healthy to breath gobs of exhaust fumes for an hour at a time. Currently, the machine gun muffler is still in it's factory position. Has anyone put a stack on a 2182 to cure this issue?

Next week the wind will be out of a different direction and it won't be an issue.
The exhaust is pointed in the same direction as any other engine on a Cub Cadet. Yes, you can rotate the muffler to point up and put a longer pipe on it.

I think this has been discussed on OCC before--the exhaust fumes not the stack direction). I can't recall ANY lawnmower that doesn't dump the exhaust right in front of the operator. I can't think of any that have underslung exhaust or a high vertical pipe. I have personally been around some that produced enough exhaust smell to make you nauseous. I always figured it was a tuning issue or poor fuel.
