Default Mowing leaves, mounting a snow blade, etc

This weekend I cleaned up the yard a bit with my CC 147 mowing leaves, testing out the E lift that I just put on (I wanted to know how it worked with the mower and didn't want to wait 6+ months) and then mounting the snow blade. No talking because I don't like the sound of my own voice. Before anyone says anything about my clothing, shut up. 😄

Nice job mounting that plow. It's a balancing act for sure.
I hope to get the electric lift on my 147 cobbled together in the next few weeks.

Cool! Nice work with that 147!! Are you an escapee from the county jail doing personal yard work?

Haha, no. Truth is I found this jumpsuit at a job I worked at and it was in the lost and found forever so it went home with me. I don’t care what happens to it or how dirty it is. I did all of this with my pajamas on under it.

The hardest part of mounting the blade is getting the sub frame on the rockshaft on the outside of the (tractor) frame and shoving the front onto the quick attach front end without it falling off.

You just have more self confidence than the P.O.
He was too insecure to wear it.
I think it is plum purdy,
it would fit right in on a construction crew, where high visibility is a must.

That was an interesting video. Thanks for sharing.
Those camera perspectives made me feel like I was there. I've never had as good a view of the front wheel working before.
That E lift works fine. I've never had one but thought that the cycle time would be greater. It works good!

The mowing result looked good. Did you have Gator blades on?
I use those and I haven't raked in years. Thanks again, I really enjoyed it.

Super good job on the video. Your lawn looks ready for a wintertime slumber and your 147 looks ready for some snow.

Great video (don't know what camera you used but it worked out nicely) and nice cub cadet. Your E-lift seems to do its job quite well. I usually put the rockshaft arms in first and ignore the QA posts, leaving them on the ground. Then once I have them on the rockshaft, I build a make shift platform under them to keep them up to that height. Then lift the QA posts in and secure them.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
