2084 pto belt adjustment.
I have a 2084 that I've had a long time.
I have replaced the belt several times over the years so I know I adjusted it properly. I can't seem to remember the correct adjustment/ tension for the belt. I can't find the info in the owners manual and the service manual. I think you turn the adjustment bolt until the smaller notch on the belt release lever lines up with the mule drive, is that correct? It's the 60" deck that is the yellow one. Thanks.

I try to adjust them so that the belts are even looking at them from the side. I like to see the belts going on and off the PTO pulley in a straight line so that they don't try to turn over.

Thanks Sam, that's the way I thought it was done. Before I seen your reply I went out there, looked at it again and it all came back to me.
I only had these Cubs for 25 years now I figured I should remember it by now. Thanks.
