Been running my 1200 with the old style air filter, and no side cover on. Now, I have the quietline filter housing, and rubber tube. Can't find what air filter is for this housing. Better yet, Does anyone know of a filter I could find in a car parts store? (napa, fram, etc)
Thanks |

The correct Air Filter Element is.... 759-3547 from Cub Cadet or 47-883-01-S1 from Kohler

The KT-17 had 2 different air cleaners...the really early one was square and used a filter that was very close to the same size as the QL element...might even be the same. The later one is the tall, round one used on the M18/M20 as well.

That kt-17 is a series 1. It has the big round filter on it. But, That is irrelevant.
I need the filter for my k301 aqs. I still havent made it to the parts store yet. being lazy. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
