Default Tri-Ribs
Where else would one look for 16x6.50x8 tri-rib tires? I checked local dealer and thet can't get them. I called Millers in Ohio, they want $70 per tire plus $30 for shipping. Is this price pretty close ?

From what I've seen those 6.5" wide tri ribs are expensive. If it were me I would go with a set of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/2-16x6-50-8-V61-...#ht_1061wt_905. They still aren't cheap but they look cool and from what I've heard work really well.

The V61's are what a lot of guys here like to run on the wider rims. They are on my 782 and are awesome. The ebay link above is for a set of the V61's.

I'm looking at putting them on my 126 with a loader. I've found that the narrower the tire the easier it is to turn the tractor. So i would like the narrowness of a tri rib ,but the with if the tire sinks in the dirt or mud. Dose that make sence?

On a loader you want floatation on the front so you don't sink, so I'd stick with the wider front tires. I'd also recommend the V61s.

Ok I'm starting to bite . what is the brand name of these tire's if I was to call a tire dealer and ask about them. What makes you fellas like them so much? I was kinda thinken that if I put ags on the back and tri ribs on the front it would look more like a big tractor. Are these v61's about $50 a piece?

The brand name is Vredestein. The eBay ad I posted includes 2 tires and 2 tubes so yes around $50 per tire then whatever shipping is on top of that. Don't worry, these tires will make your tractor look like one of the big boys. My uncle has ribbed tires similar to the v61 on the front of some of his 56 and 66 series Internationals. On the large tractors they don't dig up the hay as much when turning and they still give great grip for turning. If I had the money right now I would get a set for my 1450. Then again, I only need to buy them once...
