Default Brinly "Veggie" Planter

Yesterday I received the planter plate I've been trying to find for a long time!
It's an 8 hole corn plate. I now have 6 different plates for my Brinly Planter.
Here's what it looked like when I got it and what it looks like now.

"You 8-hole corn-plate" . . . I think my brother used to call me that when we were kids and he got PO'd at me . . .

Steve,
Nice score and nice job on the clean up - it looks like it's in great shape!

Thanks Allen....I plant sweetcorn on 30 inch rows and this plate will put my spacings at 8 inches per stalk which is perfect. Last year I planted 12 rows, 200 yards long. This year I may plant a little more.

Any good new replacement that I can purchase instead of the Brinly planter?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
